Job summary

Serán BioScience in Bend, OR is seeking a Lab Sample Coordinator to support QC workflows, coordinate samples, and ensure timely testing with CTLs. The role involves data entry, maintaining cGMP records, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will liaise with internal teams, monitor timelines, and assist in investigations (including OOS). The position requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of analytical experience. On-site work with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sample receipt from other departments for testing.

• Maintain accurate records per cGMP.
• Communicate CTL updates and results to the internal team.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sample coordination and receipt from other departments for internal and external testing


• Manages QC sample inventory, including in-process, release, retain, and stability samples


• Ships samples to external Contract Testing Laboratories (CTL)


• Follows up with CTLs on testing and turnaround times to ensure testing deadlines are met


• Performs data entry for tracking & trending of sample management and laboratory reports


• Keeps accurate and complete records per cGMP.


• Effectively communicates updates and results from CTLs to internal team and management


• Initiates laboratory investigations, including OOS


• All other duties as assigned

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
