Job summary

LabConnect is seeking a Clinical Sample Specialist to manage samples arriving at our Cleveland facility. You will support receiving, processing, labeling, and shipping, coordinating with CS, STS, and CTM to ensure timely handling.

The role requires strong attention to detail, communication, and familiarity with GDP and safety practices, with opportunities for ongoing education and development in a global clinical research setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS preferred.
• Experience in clinical research or laboratory settings preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples for storage or shipment and track with inbound documentation.
• Label specimens and register/accession in tracking systems.
• Assist QC checks and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Handle dry ice, storage freezer, and routine maintenance.
• Respond to emails and complete daily checklists; attend required trainings.
