Job summary

Per Sé Group seeks a dedicated QC Manager for a federal design-build project at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. You will own the three-phase quality control program, oversee submittals, testing, inspections, and documentation, and coordinate with the project team to ensure readiness for commissioning and turnover.

Minimum five years as a titled QC Manager and a four-year engineering-related degree are required; USACE CQM-C certification is highly relevant.

Qualifications

• Five years in a titled QC Manager role.
• Five years of broader construction leadership on projects of similar size and type.
• A four-year degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, engineering technology, building construction, or building science; USACE CQM-C certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run the three phases of control for every definable feature of work.
• Manage submittal reviews, testing, inspections, and certification documentation.
• Track quality requirements across structure, envelope, MEP, finishes, and other major trades.
• Represent QC in preconstruction, design review, partnering, and coordination meetings.
• Make sure documentation is complete, accurate, and ready when the project reaches commissioning and turnover.
• Work with the project team and contractors to identify and address quality issues before they become bigger problems.
