Job summary

SLSCO Ltd. Federal Services Division seeks an experienced QC Manager to lead quality control on federal heavy civil projects across the Southwestern United States, supporting NAVFAC, USACE, and AFCEC.

You will implement and manage the Project Quality Control Plan and report to the Project Manager/Superintendent. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction QA/QC, federal design-build experience, and USACE CQCM or OSHA 30 certifications, with strong communication skills and the ability to

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction quality-control experience.
• Experience on at least two federal design-build projects.
• QCM/CQC role on two projects valued at $10M+ each.
• Strong heavy-civil construction background preferred.
• USACE CQCM certification strongly desired, or must attain within 30 days of hiring.
• OSHA 30-hour certification strongly desired, or must attain within 30 days of hiring.
• Proficient with MS Office; English fluent; pass background check; security clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as QC Manager reporting to Project Manager/Superintendent.
• Develop and implement the Project Quality Control Plan.
• Manage 3rd party testing and inspection teams.
• Review submittals for contract compliance.
• Submit QC reports and maintain NCR/RFI registers.
• Assist in future QC plan development.
