Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated seeks a QC Manager to implement and manage the Quality Control program on a Large Federal Project. You will oversee inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to contract requirements and FAR 52.246-12, coordinating with customers and regulators.

You will lead QC personnel, ensure English fluency, maintain compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and MSHA, and support proposals, estimating, and materials during project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
• Must have completed the Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Quality Control (QC) program for a large federal project.
• Oversee inspections, testing, documentation to ensure contract compliance (FAR 52.246-12).
• Lead and supervise QC Engineers, testing lab personnel, and inspection staff.
• Attend and lead Coordination and Mutual Understanding Meetings to align QC with project execution.
• Ensure safety, hazard identification, and sustainability standards compliance (EM 385-1-1, OSHA, MSHA).
• Provide technical support through pre-bid, construction, and post-construction phases.
