Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager for its Mission Critical team in the United States. The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ field QC experience on large, complex projects and a technical degree in construction-related fields.

You will lead project QC, review drawings, and drive quality across data center builds. You will also train teams, manage documentation, and coordinate with project managers, Superintendents, and external partners to ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of field quality management experience on mission critical or large construction projects.
• Technical degree in construction, civil, architecture, engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in design, construction, and/or commissioning for large, complex MEP-heavy projects.
• Previous experience leading construction documentation and contract administration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of Ryan's quality program for data centers.
• Manage daily QC responsibilities to ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Lead and train project team members on quality-related activities.
• Oversee documentation and inspection phases with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with specifications.
• Participate in preparatory and pre-installation meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders to discuss quality issues.
• Ensure all team members understand quality management requirements for each scope of work.
• Set quality expectations including inspection cadence, testing, and documentation.
• Verify materials comply with submittals and are stored and installed correctly.
• Conduct QC meetings, audits, and weekly reports; drive corrective actions.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous quality improvement across projects.
• Travel as needed if not local to project site.
