Job summary

EMD Electronics in Tamaqua, PA is hiring a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to perform routine analytical tests and maintain analytical equipment on site. You will support production units with product quality, safety and environmental concerns, analyze samples, and communicate results to operations teams.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in life sciences, 2+ years lab experience, and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry, biology or life sciences.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of lab operations experience.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals.
• Clean room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine analytical support to operations for quality and safety.
• Analyze samples and report results to operations teams.
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations.
• Assist ISO 9001 quality program compliance.
