Job summary

EmergencyMD in Scranton, PA is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform a variety of activities involved in Quality Control of pressure sensitive products. Your role includes conducting laboratory tests and calibrating equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma with preferred experience in a lab setting and strong communication skills. The position requires working primarily on the 2nd shift with mandatory PPE in the lab.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience working in Lab setting or in a Quality type position.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic understanding of SPC control charts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC laboratory tests to determine physical properties.
• Report test results to Quality Manager.
• Perform equipment calibrations and validations.

Verbal and written communication skills

Basic investigation and problem-solving skills

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two year degree with an emphasis on Math and Chemistry
