Job summary

Contract Pharmacal Corp is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team in Hauppauge, NY. You will perform basic chemical and microbial analyses, document results, and maintain logbooks in a GMP-compliant setting.

The role supports raw materials and finished products testing across multiple labs. The position requires an Associate's degree or relevant experience, with a Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or relevant work experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory chemistry or microbiology, and cGMPs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, graphs/charts and databases.
• Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow all laboratory SOPs, including safety, chemical handling and storage, gowning, equipment use, cGMP, GDP, data integrity, and DEA requirements.
• Log in and track all samples received in the lab for testing and release.
• Perform chemical and/or microbial analyses using approved methods.
• Perform sampling, plating, and testing for microbiology analyses with media preparation and storage.
• Maintain proper labeling of chemical reagents and a clean lab environment.
• Assist in laboratory investigations and report timely results.
• Review data, calculations, notebooks, and reports.
• Perform routine metrology and instrument maintenance.
