Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions, a part of the nuclear market, seeks experienced Quality QC Inspectors (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural & Civil) to join our team. Ideal candidates have strong background in QC inspection settings and a keen eye for detail to uphold the highest quality standards on construction projects.

The role involves inspecting materials, testing, overseeing construction activities, and reviewing drawings.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and standards.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of works and structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform material testing and analysis, and other relevant assessments.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality control plans.
• Identify and document defects or non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports on findings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and promote site safety.
