Job summary

Kiewit, based in the United States, seeks a Care, Preservation & Maintenance Specialist to support quality oversight across construction projects nationwide. The role emphasizes inspecting electrical and mechanical components, auditing field work, and ensuring adherence to client specs and standards.

You will collaborate with project teams, review scopes, and help identify corrective actions while supporting safe, compliant operations on diverse sites across the country.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years in Quality and field inspection, quality auditing and surveillance for construction.
• Working knowledge of codes relevant to area of expertise (ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC).
• Experience with mechanical and electrical engineered equipment.
• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field preferred plus 1-5 years’ experience.
• Preferred degree in construction management or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide system quality control support by conducting inspections and testing on electrical and mechanical components.
• Support team members as program focal point for quality assurance and liaise with other departments.
• Understand project scope and schedule as they relate to assignment.
• Inspect field conditions, identify problems and take corrective actions.
• Report rework and non-conforming issues; document findings during daily inspections.
