Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Blackfoot, ID is seeking mid-level Quality QC Inspectors with strong Electrical, Mechanical, Structural & Civil QC experience. You will inspect materials, oversee construction activities, test components, and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards at an active site.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in quality inspection, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work night shifts (5pm-3am).

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in quality inspection.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of works and structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform material testing and analysis, and other relevant assessments.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality control plans and procedures.
• Identify and document defects or non-conformities and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports on findings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
