Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support construction on nuclear projects across multiple sites. You will interpret designs, adjust for site conditions, and oversee field changes with supervision from Construction Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringCivil Engineering or related degree.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to communicate engineering solutions effectively to management, customers, peers, and craft personnel.
• Ability to perform field verifications to ensure drawings, specs, and codes are met.
• Collaborative problem solving between design engineers and constructors in nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across estimating, construction, testing, inspection, and closeout.
• Maintain records of installed quantities and completed work.
• Assist in obtaining permits, clearances, lockouts, and work authorizations.
• Verify work in progress for safety, quality, environment and schedule compliance.
• Prepare procedures and technical documents; assist with material/service requisitions.
• Review lessons learned and collaborate with corporate teams and projects.
