Job summary

Kiewit Industrial District is seeking a Quality Specialist to coordinate, document, and report quality control activities across project sites. This entry-level role involves witnessing inspections and maintaining required QA records.

Based on assigned areas, you will support multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with quality plans, and contribute to safe, efficient construction. Candidates should have a related degree and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in quality/control in construction.
• Familiarity with construction QC procedures.
• ASQ/CQM/CQA/CWI certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Understand project quality requirements and applicable quality plans.
• Coordinate inspections and tests with project schedules.
• Review and approve inspection/test results for contract compliance.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and test reports and quality records.
• Monitor costs for third-party inspection and testing services.
