Job summary

HiFyve seeks a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections on fabricated products in Springfield, MO, ensuring compliance with customer specs, quality standards, and codes. The role combines shop-floor inspections with quality documentation and support for customer inspections.

Responsibilities include creating travelers and reports, documenting weld records, and coordinating inspection needs with manufacturing. Strong reading of drawings and ASME/NDE knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year weld inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with ASME Code VIII, Division I or equivalent.
• Knowledge of various NDE methods and techniques.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete travelers, data reports, weld records, and related project documentation.
• Complete and document product inspections and walk-down forms.
• Verify products meet applicable specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate documentation and inspection requirements with manufacturing.
• Confirm required special testing and documentation are completed.
• Work with customer inspection teams during FAT.
• Verify quality standards are maintained throughout production.
• Apply lessons learned to future inspection and quality efforts.
• Maintain accurate inspection and project records.
• Support additional quality-related activities as needed.
