Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) in Missouri seeks a Quality Inspector 1 to inspect materials and components for fabrication in compliance with CSI and industry standards (ASME BPE, ASMEB31.3 and 3A).

You will document inspections, maintain logs, perform visual and PMI checks, and help ensure dimensional accuracy, traceability, and conformance to drawings and P&IDs; on-site work with safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding knowledge or related trade school.
• Ability to read drawings and ASME documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and components per specs.
• Maintain inspection and weld logs.
• Perform visual and remote visual examinations.
• Document weld acceptance and non-conformances.
• Read blueprints and P&ID; ensure traceability.
• Follow CSI safety rules and procedures.
