Job summary

Arhaus, LLC is seeking a Fabric Inspector to ensure fabric quality before introduction to production. You will partner with receiving and manufacturing teams to approve fabrics and document results.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a manufacturing setting, and lifting up to 60 lbs. Overtime and weekly hours are noted, with a focus on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• 1 year of furniture experience and at least 6 months of quality inspection.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Physically able to stand and lift up to 60 lbs in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in a heated/cooled factory with safety compliance.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Approve or deny fabric as it arrives with receiving team.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on products and delays.
• Complete documentation for all products received.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain regular and predictable performance of duties.

POSITION DETAILS JOB PURPOSE

The fabric inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of the fabric meets Arhaus standards, before introducing it into production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• While partnering with the receiving team, the inspectors will approve or deny the fabric as it comes into the facility.
• The inspectors will provide feedback to the Manufacturing Solutions Supervisor and the cutting supervisor on products received and possible delays.
• The inspectors will be required to complete documentation on all products received.
• All issues will be escalated to the appropriate personnel.
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Regular and predictable performance of job duties.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.
