Job Overview

1st Shift 4am-2pm ($16.50/hour)

2nd Shift 2pm-12am ($17.00/hour)

This role involves key functions such as product releasing, maintaining and updating food safety & quality systems, managing ingredient risk assessments, supporting label development, and handling customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Hold and Release Program: Ensure non-conforming products are held until disposition is determined; release items on “pending pre-shipment” hold after verification.
• GFSI Compliance: Maintain compliance documents for annual reviews.
• Label Development: Maintain training and understanding of label requirements.
• Food Safety Program: Develop, maintain, and reassess HACCP (or PC for FDA plants) plans; train staff as needed.
• Customer Complaint Follow-up: Communicate with customers for investigation.
• Other duties as assigned.
