Job summary

Bonduelle Fresh Americas in Irwindale, CA is hiring a QA Tech 1 to safeguard food safety and quality in a fast-paced plant environment. The role supports QA leads, performs finished goods checks, and PCT sampling.

You will help ensure HACCP, GMP and sanitation guidelines are followed, conduct seal integrity tests, and log all QA activities. This position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a willingness to work 24/7 in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to climb stairs numerous times a day.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Understand and implement sampling requirements and PCT procedures.
• Sample finished product for Hold & Release and submit logs for tests.
• Conduct seal integrity tests and ensure adjustments are made for compliance.
• Identify non-conformances and report to PMO/SMO and leads for action.
• Log leaks, non-conformances, and sample submissions in QA database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
