Job summary

Bonduelle Fresh Americas in Irwindale, CA is seeking a QA Tech 1 to support the QA team in safeguarding food safety and quality. You will perform finished goods checks, sampling for PCT testing, and ensure GMP/HACCP adherence.

The position is hourly at $21.25 per hour, with duties including seal integrity tests, tracking QA logs, and assisting with daily QA tasks in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills and comfort multitasking in a production/QA environment.
• Willingness and ability to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced 24-hour plant.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP, PPE, and sanitation guidelines.
• Conduct product sampling and follow PCT sampling procedures.
• Sample finished product for Hold & Release testing and prepare logs.
• Perform seal integrity tests and ensure equipment adjustments for compliance.
• Identify and report non-conformances, document issues, and support corrective actions.
• Assist with tank operations and maintain proper water level and cleanliness.
• Log leaks and sample submissions in QA database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
