Job summary

Bonduelle Fresh Americas is seeking a QA Tech 1 to support the QA team in ensuring food safety and quality compliance at our Irwindale facility. The role involves sample testing, log keeping and daily QA tasks to maintain product integrity.

You will work on the 1st shift in a fast-paced plant environment. The ideal candidate has a GED/HS diploma, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a cold, wet setting.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English; basic math skills.
• Proficient in basic computer use and multitasking.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold, wet plant.
• GED or HS diploma required.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMP/PPE/Safety/HACCP guidelines and processes.
• Understand and implement product sampling requirements for PCT.
• Sample finished product for Hold & Release PCT; logs and submits samples.
• Conduct seal integrity tests and ensure adjustments by PMOs/SMOs.
• Identify non-conformances and report; correct abnormalities.
• Clean/fill the Haug tank at start of shift and maintain cleanliness.
• Log leaks, non-conformances and sample submissions in QA database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
