Job summary

Bonduelle Fresh Americas in Irwindale, CA is hiring a QA Tech 1 to join the Quality team. The role supports QA leads, performs finished goods checks, and samples for PCT testing to ensure product safety and quality standards.

You will follow GMP/HACCP guidelines, conduct seal integrity tests, log results, and assist with hold and release procedures. This on-site position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a cold, fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in QA tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, with basic math skills.
• Proficient in basic computer use and multitasking.
• Willingness to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced 24-hour plant environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs as required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP/Safety, PPE, and Sanitation guidelines.
• Understand and implement product sampling requirements for PCT testing.
• Sample finished product for Hold & Release testing and submit logs.
• Conduct seal integrity tests and ensure equipment adjustments for compliance.
• Identify non-conformances and report to PMO/SMO and production leads.
• Log leaks, non-conformances, and sample submissions in QA database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
