Job summary

Ford Energy, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is seeking a Supervisor of Quality Assurance in Dearborn, MI. You will lead a team responsible for FAT, field data analytics, documentation control, and CAPA across BESS products, ensuring audit-ready quality systems and cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities include developing team members, managing core quality processes (FAT/EOL, RCA, CAPA), and driving continuous improvement while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or related roles, including high-voltage battery, power electronics, or energy storage products.
• 2+ years of direct people management or team lead experience.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and CAPA processes (8D, 5-Why, fishbone).
• Experience supporting or leading customer, regulatory, or certification-body audits.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills; able to represent Quality to senior engineering and manufacturing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team spanning FAT/production testing, technical documentation, field data analytics, issue tracking/RCA, and PLM systems.
• Align team goals with Quality priorities and conduct performance reviews and coaching.
• Allocate team capacity across competing priorities and recruit new members as needed.
• Own the end-to-end quality data flow from production tests to documentation and PLM records.
