Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn seeks a PD Quality Supervisor for High Voltage Traction Batteries. You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Teardown Specialists to ensure reliability of HV battery assemblies, including BECs and BECMs, driving 2026 quality targets.

You will champion warranty reduction, accelerate issue resolution, and embed AI into standard engineering workflows. On-site presence is required four days per week, with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) required.
• 5-7 years in Product Development, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing for electrified powertrains.
• Experience leading technical teams in fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in 8D/A3 problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to define high-quality SMART objectives and manage performance reviews.
• Develop training plans and ensure mandatory EPE training completion.
• Maintain on-site presence minimum 4 days/week and drive operational excellence.
• Drive warranty reduction targets and accelerate issue resolution speed.
• Oversee 8D/A3 investigations and data integrity in cross-functional forums.
• Monitor model year launches and integrate AI tools into processes.
