Job summary

Bakerly is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for 2nd shift in Easton, PA. You will build and lead a QA team, drive FSQ program compliance, and coordinate with R&D and production to improve processes in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and FDA regulations while preparing for audits and sustaining product quality across our growing product line.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Additional certifications in quality or food safety (e.g., HACCP, SQF) preferred.
• Experience with quality management systems and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a high-performing team of QA technicians through training, goal setting, and performance management.
• Monitor and verify the implementation and effectiveness of Food Safety and Quality systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
• Conduct internal audits, manage CAPA, and facilitate external audits and inspections.
• Oversee daily FS&Q checks, manage product holds, and determine dispositions based on quality analysis.
• Support cross-functional teams, including R&D and production, on special projects and process improvements.
• Oversee calibration of equipment to ensure accurate measurements and ensure training is completed on time.
• Partner with production and management teams to implement quality initiatives and resolve issues.
• Serve as primary liaison with third-party providers for pest control, chemical supplies, and microbiological labs.
• Directly manage a team of QA technicians, fostering growth and accountability.
