Job summary

Bake’n Joy Foods, Inc. is seeking a FSQA Technician on 2nd shift to uphold food safety and quality across production lines in North Andover, MA. The role requires a strong QA background, HACCP/SQF expertise, and experience with laboratory equipment.

The technician will partner with operations to drive corrective actions, verify compliance, and support audits. Flexibility for extra hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Laboratory or quality assurance background.
• Minimum of two-five years of related work experience in food manufacturing/processing.
• PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner certifications preferred.
• Food Safety System Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain food safety and quality systems and records.
• Collaborate with operations to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Verify HACCP, SQF, and Preoperational checks.
• Verify SSOP records and sanitation practices.
• Investigate food safety incidents and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform regular line checks on production lines.
• Approve or reject ingredients per specs.
• Maintain organized laboratory environment.
