Qualifications

• Experience in construction quality control, receiving equipment, machinery moving, rigging, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment layouts, shipping documents, drawings, manufacturer instructions, and installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, photograph, and describe physical damage, discrepancies, or incomplete work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure receiving inspections occur as shipments arrive and before handling.
• Verify equipment tags, model numbers, serial numbers, and destinations against documents.
• Photograph equipment upon arrival and record damage or discrepancies with clear notes.
• Document shortages, incorrect units, damaged packaging, and other exceptions on receiving records.
• Assemble complete QA/QC turnover packages for completeness and conformance to contractual requirements.
