Job summary

NOOTER Construction seeks a Quality Control Inspector / QAQC Technician to support industrial construction projects with field inspections and QA activities. You will verify welding, piping, mechanical and structural work against specs and codes, review drawings and inspection plans, and document nonconforming work.

You’ll collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, compliant execution. You will maintain records, assist with corrective actions, and participate in audits to support timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CWI certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Minimum two years in industrial construction, fabrication or QA/QC.
• Knowledge of construction practices and inspection methods.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings and specs.
• Ability to complete inspection reports and records accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and electronic docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of welding, piping, mechanical systems, and structural components.
• Verify compliance with project specs, codes, and QA procedures.
• Review drawings, specs, and inspection test plans; document nonconforming work.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors; support corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and turnover documentation; participate in audits.
