Job summary

Omega Morgan is seeking a QA/QC Technician in Hillsboro, Oregon to oversee the quality of equipment receiving, handling, storage, movement, and final placement on active projects.

You will support the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 requirements by ensuring inspections, nonconforming outputs, and turnover activities are completed accurately with traceable records and clear field communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction quality control
• Ability to read and interpret equipment layouts, shipping documents, drawings and installation requirements
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to photograph and describe physical damage or discrepancies
• Understanding of equipment identification, traceability and nonconforming equipment controls
• Proficiency with digital inspection forms and project document-management systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure required receiving inspections occur as equipment arrives
• Verify equipment tags, model numbers and serial numbers against approved lists and shipping documents
• Photograph equipment upon arrival, including damage or discrepancies
• Document shortages, incorrect units, and damages on receiving records and delivery paperwork
• Maintain records and turnovers, ensuring proper documentation and closure of deficiencies
