Job summary

Omega Morgan seeks a QA/QC Technician to oversee and document the quality of equipment handling, receiving, storage, movement and final placement on active construction sites in Oregon. The role supports ISO 9001 alignment and ensures inspections, records and turnover activities meet project requirements.

Essential duties include coordinating with field leadership for inspections, verifying tags and documents, photographing equipment, recording deficiencies, and assembling QA/QC turnover

Qualifications

• Experience in construction quality control or related field.
• Ability to read equipment layouts, drawings, and installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail to identify damage, discrepancies, and nonconformances.
• Ability to produce legible inspection records and reports.
• Proficient in using digital inspection forms and photos for records.
• Excellent organization and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure receiving inspections occur.
• Verify tags, model numbers, and serials against documents.
• Confirm deliveries match unit, quantity, and destination.
• Photograph equipment on arrival and document damage.
• Record shortages, damages, and exceptions on receiving records.
• Prepare final QA/QC turnover packages for project turnover.
