Job summary

CLM Construction is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the company’s fabrication quality program and ensure that welding, inspections, testing, material traceability, documentation, and final turnover meet project and code requirements.

The role oversees QA/QC inspectors, coordinates NDT activities, maintains WPS/PQR/WPQ records, and ensures quality hold points are followed. Independent authority to accept, reject, or place work on quality hold is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in QA/QC, welding inspection, fabrication quality, or related industrial quality.
• Strong knowledge of welding quality, WPS/PQR/WPQ requirements, NDT coordination, material traceability and fabrication documentation.
• CWI or equivalent welding inspection certification strongly preferred; ISO 9001 and ASME/AWS/API/ASTM/ASNT knowledge a plus.
• Leadership and ability to stop production when quality issues arise; independent authority over quality acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC inspectors and coordinate NDT activities, welding quality, inspection and testing, and material traceability.
• Maintain quality documentation, audits, and nonconformance processes (NCRs).
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions, repairs, reinspection, and final turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with Operations, Project Management, customers and third-party testing agencies to resolve quality issues.
