Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to join our PMCM group in Texas, providing leadership for the project quality program and ensuring work meets requirements, codes, and standards. You will guide inspections, testing, and documentation while mentoring the quality team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in quality, engineering, construction, or PM, with strong analytical and communication skills to coordinate with leadership, design, and field teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of quality, engineering, construction, or project management experience on large programs.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and QMS.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, codes and standards.
• ISO 9001 or ASQ credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of the project QA/QC program and strategy.
• Serve as primary contact for quality matters and guidance on standards and processes.
• Partner with leadership, design, construction teams, contractors, and clients to meet quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection/testing procedures, audit protocols, checklists, and docs.
• Oversee inspections, audits, testing, and quality reviews for compliance with requirements.
• Identify quality risks, perform root-cause analysis, and manage corrective actions.
• Monitor quality performance with metrics and reporting to leadership.
• Ensure quality records and turnover packages are complete and maintained.
• Lead and mentor quality personnel to promote accountability and improvement.
• Integrate quality requirements into schedules, staffing plans, budgets and execution.
• Provide technical leadership on complex quality issues throughout lifecycle.
