Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to join our PMCM group in Texas and lead the project quality program for a large-scale, mission-critical initiative.

You will partner with project leadership, construction teams, design professionals, and clients to assure compliance with requirements and standards. The role requires strong technical judgment, leadership and a proactive approach to quality management, with responsibility for plans, audits, nonconformance, metrics, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of related quality, engineering, construction, or project management experience.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience on mission-critical, data center, advanced technology, healthcare or other technically complex projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, inspections, nonconformance, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of the project QA/QC program and strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters.
• Partner with project leadership, design, construction teams, contractors, and clients to maintain quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection/testing procedures, audit protocols, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee inspections, audits, testing, and quality reviews for compliance with codes and standards.
• Identify quality risks, perform root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality performance with metrics and reporting to leadership.
• Ensure quality records and turnover packages are complete and accurate.
• Lead and mentor quality personnel and promote continuous improvement.
• Integrate quality requirements into schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
