Job summary

STV seeks an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the PMCM group in Texas, overseeing the project’s quality program and ensuring work is planned, executed, inspected, and documented to project requirements and industry standards.

You will guide quality standards, partner with project teams and clients, and manage nonconformance and corrective actions while driving continuous improvement across the organization. This role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years in quality, engineering, construction, or project management on large, complex programs.
• Experience developing and managing QA/QC programs and QMS.
• Preferred experience in mission-critical or technically complex projects (data center, healthcare, industrial).
• Knowledge of construction quality processes, inspections, nonconformance, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project QA/QC program development and ongoing management.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for guidance on standards and processes.
• Collaborate with leadership, design, construction, contractors, and clients to meet quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection procedures, audits, and documentation.
• Oversee inspections, audits, testing, and quality reviews for conformance to requirements.
• Identify risks, perform root-cause analysis, and manage corrective actions.
• Monitor quality performance with metrics and reporting to leadership.
• Ensure quality records and turnover packages are complete and maintained.
• Mentor quality personnel and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Integrate quality requirements into schedules, staffing, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Provide technical leadership on complex quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.
