Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to join our PMCM group in Texas and support a large-scale, mission‑critical project. This role will provide leadership and oversight of the project’s quality program, ensuring work is planned, executed, inspected, and documented in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and established quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of related QA/QC, engineering, construction, or project management experience on large programs.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and QMS.
• Experience on mission-critical or technically complex projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, codes, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to lead, resolve issues, and drive corrective actions.
• Demonstrated leadership to mentor teams across disciplines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of the project QA/QC program and strategy.
• Serve as primary contact for quality-related matters and provide guidance on standards.
• Partner with leadership, design, construction, contractors, and clients to set quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection/testing procedures, audit protocols, and docs.
• Oversee inspections, audits, testing, and quality reviews for compliance.
• Identify risks, perform root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and CAPA.
• Monitor quality performance with metrics and report trends to leadership.
• Maintain quality records, inspection docs, and turnover packages.
• Lead and mentor QA/QC personnel to promote accountability.
• Integrate quality requirements into schedules, staffing, and budgets.
• Provide technical leadership on complex quality issues through lifecycle.
