Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to join our PMCM group in Texas and support a large-scale, mission-critical project. You will lead the project’s quality program and partner with project teams to ensure work is planned, executed, inspected, and documented to meet requirements.

You will serve as the primary contact for quality matters, drive continuous improvement, and mentor quality personnel across disciplines in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of related quality, engineering, construction, or project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience supporting mission-critical, data center, advanced technology, healthcare, industrial, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the project-specific QA/QC program and quality management strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters and provide guidance on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
• Partner with project leadership, design disciplines, construction teams, contractors, and clients to establish and maintain project quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection and testing procedures, audit protocols, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee inspections, audits, surveillances, testing activities, and quality reviews to verify compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
• Identify quality risks and deficiencies, perform or oversee root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and corrective-action processes through resolution.
• Monitor quality performance and establish metrics and reporting to communicate trends, risks, deficiencies, and corrective actions to project leadership.
• Ensure that project quality records, inspection and testing documentation, and turnover packages remain complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Lead and mentor quality personnel while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the project team.
• Integrate quality requirements into project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and overall execution strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and sound judgment on complex quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.
