Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the project quality program for a large-scale Texas-based PMCM initiative. The role requires coordinating with project leadership, design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in QA/QC, engineering, construction, or PM.
• Experience building and managing QA/QC programs and QMS.
• Experience on mission-critical or data center-type projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the project-specific QA/QC program and quality management strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters and provide guidance on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
• Partner with project leadership, design disciplines, construction teams, contractors, and clients to establish and maintain project quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection and testing procedures, audit protocols, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee inspections, audits, surveillances, testing activities, and quality reviews to verify compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
• Identify quality risks and deficiencies, perform or oversee root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and corrective-action processes through resolution.
• Monitor quality performance and establish metrics and reporting to communicate trends, risks, deficiencies, and corrective actions to project leadership.
• Ensure that project quality records, inspection and testing documentation, and turnover packages remain complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Lead and mentor quality personnel while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the project team.
• Integrate quality requirements into project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and overall execution strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and sound judgment on complex quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.
