Job summary

MYR Group is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for Transmission and Distribution to lead the development of QA/QC standards and audits across projects. The role requires expertise in NESC/NEC, client quality requirements, and serving as the primary QA liaison with inspectors.

Ideal candidates have extensive electrical construction experience, leadership in QA/QC, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in a related field; combination of education and experience considered.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical construction.
• 2+ years in QA/QC supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• NICET/CQI/CQM or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish a QA/QC standard program across the Transmission and Distribution organization.
• Develop inspection and test plans (ITPs) and project-specific quality management plans (QMPs) aligned with client requirements.
• Manage non-conformance (NCR) processes including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quality submittals and calibration records.
• Travel up to 50% as required on projects.
