Job summary

MYR Group Inc. seeks a QA/QC Manager for Transmission and Distribution to lead quality audits, establish standard programs, and train staff on quality fundamentals.

You will ensure compliance with contract specs, NESC/NEC, and client requirements, serving as the primary quality liaison for inspectors on assigned projects. This role may be located at any subsidiary site or at the headquarters in Thornton, CO, requiring strong communication and leadership across teams and travel up to 50% as

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in construction, engineering, QA/QE, or related field.
• NICET, CWI, CQM/CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, OSHA 30 as preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of electrical construction QA/QC experience.
• 2+ years QA/QC supervision/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish a QA/QC standard program for Transmission and Distribution.
• Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) and project-specific quality management plans (QMPs).
• Prepare and complete project construction quality review checklists and required documentation.
• Manage the non-conformance (NCR) process, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
