Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to establish a company-wide QA/QC program for Transmission and Distribution projects. The role includes developing ITPs, QMPs, and ensuring adherence to contract specs, NESC/NEC, and client requirements.

The position requires extensive experience in electrical construction, QA/QC leadership, and travel up to 50%. You will serve as the primary quality liaison with client inspectors and manage NCR processes and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Prior experience in a quality assurance or control position.
• Minimum 8 years as a Journeyman Lineman on electrical construction projects preferred.
• 2+ years in a QA/QC supervisory or leadership capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish a QA/QC standard program across the Transmission and Distribution organization.
• Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) and project-specific quality management plans (QMPs).
• Prepare and complete project construction quality review checklists and required documentation.
• Manage the non-conformance (NCR) process including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review and approve subcontractor and supplier quality submittals and calibration records.
• Submit quality reporting to management.
• Address and improve quality practices with district management.
• Oversee other members of the quality department as needed.
• Act as primary quality liaison with client inspectors and third-party agencies.
