Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for Transmission and Distribution. You will lead audits, develop a standard QA/QC program, and train staff on quality fundamentals, acting as the primary liaison with client inspectors and third-party agencies.

The role requires deep knowledge of NESC/NEC codes, contract specs, and a background in electrical construction. Travel up to 50% may be required across project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in the electrical construction industry.
• Experience in QA/QC roles and supervisory leadership.
• Journeyman Lineman experience preferred (8+ years).

Responsibilities

• Create and establish a QA/QC standard program for Transmission and Distribution.
• Develop and maintain ITPs and QMPs aligned with client requirements.
• Prepare project quality review checklists and documentation.
• Manage NCR process, root cause analysis, corrective action, closure verification.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quality submittals and certifications.
• Submit quality reporting to management and coordinate with client inspectors.
