Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in High Point, NC is seeking a QA/QC Technician to ensure the quality of our dairy products from raw milk to finished goods. You will conduct contamination testing, assess raw materials, and verify products using standard dairy methods, helping maintain certifications and product safety.

The role operates on 2nd shift (12:30 PM to 11:00 PM on a rotating 4-day work week) with overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, supporting our farmer-owned cooperative’s commitment to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or BS in Food/Biological Sciences preferred; QA/QC experience in food manufacturing is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing to determine causes for contamination in finished products.
• Assess quality of raw milk and ingredients for formulated products.
• Perform standard method analyses for milk products (butterfat, total solids, etc.).
• Perform weight checks on incoming samples and volumetric determinations of fills.
• Check chemical concentrations in sanitizers and CIP systems as needed.
• Conduct environmental testing in production areas using ATP swabs.
