Job summary

Maola Milk in High Point, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance across dairy processing equipment, ensuring reliable operation of pasteurization, filling, packaging, and refrigeration systems.

The role requires at least 2 years of related manufacturing maintenance experience, strong mechanical/hydraulic skills, and familiarity with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair boilers, pumps, compressors, filters, tanks, and other equipment in machine rooms.
• Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including associated components.
• Service and repair pasteurizing equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Maintain and repair automated conveyors, case handling systems, filling equipment, and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to the component level, interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Provide training and guidance to new maintenance team members.
• Other duties may be assigned.
