Job summary

Civil Recruit is seeking a Manufacturing QA Technician II for a milk plant on a 2nd shift (4x10, Wed-Sat, 4pm-2am). You will inspect raw materials, monitor processes, perform tests, and document results to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires collaboration with production teams on corrective actions and compliance with GMP and SOPs. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in QA, a relevant degree, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 1 year of QA experience in food production.
• Experience in microbiology or chemical lab settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished milk products.
• Perform regular inspections of production processes to ensure safety and quality.
• Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly.
• Evaluate test result trends and report to employees and management.
• Implement GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance measures.
• Participate in internal audits and assist with external audits as needed.
• Record data and prepare reports on quality metrics with daily records.
• Drive continuous improvement and support 6-S program.
• Follow up on customer complaints and coordinate with production.
• Apply quality control testing to meet Safeway quality standards.
