Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a Cx Project Manager to lead commissioning efforts for our most complex projects in Chicago, IL. You will oversee pre-commissioning, testing, and issue resolution while engaging with clients and operations staff to turnover facilities.

The role requires a technical engineering degree and 5+ years in related fields, with strong communication and leadership, plus willingness to work extensively on-site in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Mission Critical, Power Infrastructure, or Water Treatment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with adaptable and flexible collaboration.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to spend ~50% on construction jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning on mechanical, electrical, controls, and process systems.
• Act as commissioning lead for ARCO's largest, most complex projects with pre-commissioning, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
• Work directly with customers and end-users regarding commissioning status and turnover.
• Coach teams and coordinate schedules for all trades; ensure clear communication across sites.
• Create and follow pre-commissioning checklists and commissioning test scripts.
