Clune Construction is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and field inspections on our construction projects in Chicago. You will review drawings, track deficiencies, document inspection results, and coordinate with project teams to ensure conformance with codes and standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to QA/QC plans, and preparation of turnover documentation. The candidate will contribute to the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and approved submittals.
• Familiarity with architectural, structural, and MEP building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate field inspections to verify installation quality.
• Review drawings and submittals to support inspection planning.
• Identify and track deficiencies; coordinate resolution with project teams.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Support QA/QC plans and inspection procedures.
• Communicate inspection results to QA/QC leadership and project teams.
