Job summary

Clune Construction Company is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control on our construction projects in Washington DC. You will verify installations, inspect workmanship, and document findings to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes.

This role partners with project teams to resolve deficiencies and prepare systems for turnover. You will review drawings, specs, and submittals, coordinate with field teams, and maintain thorough QA/QC

Qualifications

• Familiarity with architectural, structural, and MEP systems and their installation requirements.
• Ability to review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Understanding of QA/QC documentation systems and inspection reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate field inspections to verify installation quality.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to support inspection planning.
• Identify, document, and track quality deficiencies and coordinate resolution.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Support QA/QC plans and procedures and assist in turnover documentation.
• Communicate issues and inspection results to teams and QA/QC leadership.
