Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control activities on our projects. You will verify installation quality, review drawings and submittals, and track deficiencies with project teams to ensure adherence to standards and codes.

This role partners with field teams, provides documentation support, and helps prepare systems for commissioning and turnover, contributing to successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Construction Science preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction, QA/QC, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate field inspections to verify installation quality.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and approved submittals to support inspection planning and verification.
• Identify, document, and track quality deficiencies and coordinate resolution with project teams.
• Maintain and manage inspection records, reports, checklists, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure quality requirements are understood.
• Verify system readiness for testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Support QA/QC leadership in ensuring inspection procedures and documentation requirements are followed.
