Job summary

LISI Aerospace North America in Torrance, CA is seeking a Quality Manager to plan, coordinate and direct quality control programs ensuring continuous production of products meeting standards. You will lead inspectors, NDT and testing teams, mentor staff, and drive HSE compliance while coordinating with production to optimize quality and costs.

Requires associates degree or equivalent with several years of quality experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience / combined education with 4 years professional experience, or 2 years with a Bachelors degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops and analyzes data to determine standards and reliability expectancy of finished products.
• Reviews rejections from PMRT preliminaries and participates in PMRT activities.
• Directs QA objectives with production procedures to maximize product quality and minimize costs.
• Directs Inspectors, NDT and testing activities to ensure control over materials and products.
• Plans and organizes training related to product quality and reliability.
• Investigates and addresses customer quality complaints; staffing recommendations as needed.
• Mentors Inspectors and Lab Techs to meet customer expectations and develop staff.
