AMS Group, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a seasoned Quality Leader responsible for directing the quality strategy across the Torrance Operations facility. You will oversee in-process, receiving, final, and source inspections, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with engineering and operations to implement recovery plans and maintain QA documentation. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and experience with aviation quality

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business/management, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years in manufacturing with aviation and defense quality manufacturing experience.
• Experience with QMS, corrective actions and audits.
• Ability to lead a quality team and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of AS9102, FOD, ESD standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support AMS Group, Inc quality strategy and initiatives at Torrance Operations.
• Oversee inspections of orders and identify non-conformances; drive root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Manage Torrance customer complaints and determine rework or replacement needs.
• Collaborate with engineering to approve recovery plans for conforming products.
• Maintain Quality Issue Log and report status in PMR meetings.
• Oversee calibration of measurement devices and ensure calibration schedules.
• Ensure QMS processes and work instructions are maintained and audited; support 3rd party audits.
• Lead quality team at Torrance; promote teamwork and skill development.
• Analyze data/metrics to evaluate performance and communicate across the organization.
